From Good Friday sorrow to Easter Joy

This image of the cross was part of the Easter story presentation in our church. It demonstrates the sorrow of Good Friday as Jesus hung on the cross. To those who knew him this violent death must have seen like a sad and dismal end of all that had hoped for.

But as we emerged from the church after another rain shower we saw this beautiful rainbow in the sky. A symbol of hope and new life. Jesus has risen. He is alive today and we can have a relationship with him if we wish.

Happy Easter to all my followers!
